Product Description

A breathable mesh upper allows air to fully permeate the Inov8 Tri-X-Treme 275 Running Shoe, whilst a succession of synthetic overlays reinforce its construction. A DFB (Dynamic Fascia Band) replicates the anatomical position of the plantar fascia ligament and duplicates the foot's ability to utilise the windlass effect, accommodating a more natural running style. The Tri-X-Treme 275 is nominally a triathlon shoe, and as such incorporates a number of features engineered to specifically increase performance in this particular discipline. A quick-release toggle system removes the burdensome and time-consuming process of tying laces, whilst a large shoe opening allows the foot to enter and leave the shoe at speed, drastically reducing transition times. A sticky/fusion TRI-X-TREMETM outsole compound ensures the shoe remains grippy on all surfaces, particularly when wet - crucially, the shoe's mesh lining also allows it to drain water incredibly efficiently which is particularly useful in the wake of Transition 1.
